Daniel E. Kacergis In Hamden, March 8,2002, Daniel E. Kacergis, 85, of Sherman La., formerly of Kenwood Ave., Hamden. Husband of the late Grace Jones Kacergis. He was born in New Haven son of the late John & Mary Daske Kacergis. He was a maintenance mechanic for the Burndy Corp formerly of North Haven and then worked for the Jewish Home for the Aged in New Haven ,prior to his retirement in 1985. Mr. Kacergis was a member of the first graduating class at Hamden High School in 1936. He is survived by nieces; Linda Wishart and husband Richard and Rosalie Briggs both of New York Mills, NY. and nephews, Todd Briggs of New Hartford, NY. and Kenneth Briggs of Edmeston, NY. He was predeceased by a brother John Kacergis, Jr. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday morning, March 13th at 11:00 at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden.
