MERIDEN - Daniel Rodriguez, 45, of Parker Avenue South, died Sunday, April 11, 2004, at MidState Medical Center after a long illness. He was the husband of Migdalia ''Dolly'' Vazquez Rodriguez. Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, on June 15, 1958, he was the son of the late Juan Fidel Rodriguez and the late Isabel Roman. He was employed as a supervisor for Framer's Market in Meriden for nine years. He was a parishioner of St. Rose Church and a Eucharistic Minister there and a great leader of the Cursillo Movement at the church. He leaves behind his beloved wife of twenty-five years, Migdalia Rodriguez of Meriden; his youngest son, David Daniel Rodriguez of Meriden; his only daughter, Vivian Rodriguez of Texas; his oldest son, Daniel Rodriguez, Jr.; his granddaughter, Ivelisse Isabel Melendez; his brothers, Melvin Santiago, Rademos Santiago, both of New York; Fidel Rodriguez of Puerto Rico; two sisters, Blanca Rodriguez and Lillian Rodriguez, both of Puerto Rico; his uncle, Pedro Roman of New York; his cousin, Nicza Torres of Meriden; his paternal grandmother, Agripina Rodriguez; several sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; aunts, nephews and nieces and his community of friends. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday, April 15, at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church. The Rev. Isaac Calichicco will officiate. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Beecher and Bennett Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
