Darlene J. Anderson, age 73 of Hamden passed away May 4, 2023. She was the wife of James Anderson and mother of Scott Anderson. Born in New Haven on Sept 5, 1949 she was a daughter of the late Jack and Theresa (Basillocato) Jeffe and sister of the late Cheryl Spevik. Darlene was a resident to Hamden all her life. She was employed by Yale New Haven Hospital for over 25 years in the Medical Records Office and was a former member of the Board that raised funds to build the Childrens Center there. Darlene later worked for ACES in North Haven as a daycare coordinator. Years ago she enjoyed singing with her sister.
Friends may visit with her family at BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERTAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden on Saturday, May 13th from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. During this time a Prayer Service for Darlene will be held at 3:30 pm in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
