Obituary

David Anthony Lavoie, 37, left our world for the next on Friday October 27, 2017 at his home. David was born in Farmington, CT on May 28, 1980, the perfect, tiny little miracle to his loving and devoted mother Marie Lavoie. David leaves behind 3 beautiful daughters that he was so incredibly proud of and believed the sun rose for; Hannah, Brookelynn and Devin, and their mom Bobbi Marie. David also has 3 sisters, the eldest Melanie, who David meant the world to and she to him, and her husband Jerry Torres who was his brother throughout the past 23 years. Also his youngest sister, Nicole Lavoie, and he were always 2 peas in a pod. David was predeceased by his big sister, April Lavoie. David also loved his brother in life, Justin Michalski. David adored all his "kiddos." His nieces and nephews were amongst his greatest prides and being an uncle and Godfather brought him immense joy; he loved each of them with perfect individuality and with such care and forethought. Kyle Torres, his first little dude, and Kristiana Torres, his dudette, who was also his treasured Goddaughter, and Tyler, Jayden, who was his Uncle David's mini, Maya and Mckenzie Lavoie, who he loved and appreciated for each of their special and unique personalities and bonded with in such special ways. David loved and adored all his family, his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and Nana. David was also an amazing friend and has the biggest heart and most special and unique sense of humor. He has such a strong passion for music, a love of 80's films, and a taste for unique and interesting "Dave Foods." We will miss him all the days of our lives. Please join David's family as we say goodbye to such a special soul and vibrant spirit on Friday November 3, 2017 at 7pm in the Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. Friends are also invited to visit with his family from 5-7pm before the service of remembrance. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the David Anthony Lavoie Memorial Fund by mailing checks to any Wells Fargo Branch using #6031332684.
