David Joel Murray, 79, of West Haven, beloved husband of 55 years of Sondra Bibro Murray passed away April 25, 2018 in the Masonic Healthcare Center, Wallingford after a brief illness. David was born on April 21, 1939; a son of the late Daniel and Gertrude Lamb Murray, and was a lifelong resident of West Haven. He was employed as a chauffeur with Hy's and the Lyke Limousine Companies before retirement. David also enjoyed painting signs. He is survived by his grandsons, Terry J. Stone and Robert A. Gentile, a sister, Barbara Andus, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by daughter Cheryl A. Murray in 2012.
