MERIDEN - David Arthur Waterman, 50, loving husband of Irene Westendorff Waterman, passed away Thursday, Dec. 13, 2001, in MidState Medical Center. He was born in Proctor, VT, June 19, 1951, a son of Reta Morrill Waterman of Waits River, VT and the late Niles Waterman and had resided in Meriden for most of his life. He was employed as an electronic technician at the Air Flow Instrument Company of Glastonbury for nine years, recently retiring due to illness. David was an active member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Meriden and served as chairman of the audio visual committee, and as a trustee. He was an avid rock collector and was a member of the Chip and Pick Rock and Mineral Club of Meriden. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two sons, Michael David Waterman and Stephen John Waterman, both of Meriden; a daughter, Laura Mae Waterman of Meriden; two brothers, Eben Charles Waterman of Springfield, VT and Robin McLain Waterman of Manchester, CT; several nieces and nephews and he will be missed by many good friends. He was predeceased by a brother, Warren Waterman. A memorial service will be held Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Joel Rissinger officiating. Relatives and friends may call Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Beecher and Bennett Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden.
