Desrene Williamson, 92, of Asylum St., New Haven, passed away Feb. 4, 2010 after a long illness. She was born in Jamaica, May 2, 1917, a daughter of the late Percival Williamson and Francella Williams. Mother of Mervis Owens of New Haven, Sheila Spence, Jackson Wint and Roger Williams all of Jamaica. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, sisters, brothers and other relatives. Special thanks to the Nurses and CNA's at the Jewish Home for their loving care. Funeral service will be Friday, Feb. 12, at 11am in St. Paul U.A.M.E. Church, 1267 Chapel St., at Dwight St., New Haven. Family and friends may view at the church from 9:30 to 11 am. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
