Diana Glenna Dimon, 88, of Hamden, passed away March 11, 2023 at the Hospital of St. Raphael. Born in New Haven on July 17, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Harold James and Josephine E. Glenn Dimon. She is survived by her cousin Mary Anna Andrews, with whom she resided, as well as cousins Billy and Eddy Glenn. Predeceased by her sister, Sarah G. Dimon. Diana worked in Cheshire for 36 years, teaching 4th and 5th grade at the Doolittle School. As a breeder and exhibitioner of longhaired dachshunds, she was a member and past president of the Elm City Kennel Club, and also belonged to the CT Yankee Dachshund Club and the Dachshund Club of America.
Friends are invited to visit with Diana's family from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Friday, March 17th at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Avenue, Hamden. Burial will be private.
