In Milford, March 27, 2003, Dorothy M. Harris, 81, of 142 Zion Hill Rd., Milford, formerly of Shepard Hill Rd., Hamden, wife of the late Marshall Norman Harris, mother of Lorraine H. Sullivan of New Haven, Carol Phillips and her husband, Thomas of Milford, Barbara Harris of Sausalito, CA and Malcolm K. Harris of Hamden, sister of Helen Bulinski of Trumbull, grandmother of Scott, Emily and Stacy Phillips. She was predeceased by 9 brothers and sisters. Born in Stratford, CT, May 5,1921 a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Pohorenec Murcko. She was employed at Yale University for 23 years retiring in 1986 as an administrative assistant. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Monday March 31 at 9:30 a.m., Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church at 10:00 a.m. Friends may call Sunday from 5 - 8 p.m. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Hamden. Contributions may be made to Our Lady of Mt.
