Douglas Arnold Golden, 76, of Meriden, loving husband of the late Nancylee (Bower) Golden, passed away on January 4, 2024 at Midstate Medical Center. He was born in Gardiner, ME on July 16, 1947, a son of the late John and Lida Golden. Douglas is survived by his daughters, Tammy Golden and her husband Albert Fontanelle, Wendy Choate, and Beverly Canbulat, his stepsons, Douglas Leach and Christopher Brady, and his grandchildren, David, William, and Qwinton Fontanelle, Sean, Michael and Bailey Sullivan, Tyler and Rihannon Choate, Laura, Sarah, Jeremy, Jessica and Brendan, and Aidan and Kayleigh Leach. He also leaves his great-grandchildren, Cooper and Bailey Sullivan. He was predeceased by his sister, Beverly Golden, and brothers, John Jr., Dennis, Wendell, Vincent, and Jerry Golden. In his free time Douglas enjoyed fishing, working with his hands, cooking, and reading western and mystery novels.
Services will be privately held at the convenience of his family.
