Earl H. Evans, 61, of Eastern St., Bella Vista, New Haven, previously of Norwich, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, March 14, 2010. He was born in Meriden on September 9, 1948 to Clint Evans and the late Lois Booth Evans. Beloved by sisters, Judith (Steve) Marino, Ann (Ted) Chila, and brother, Timothy (Debra) Evans. He was predeceased by his sister Elizabeth Cobb and brother, Dr. Joseph Evans. He is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews and his close friend Patty. Earl enjoyed photography and writing. However, his primary interest and love was the study of God's Holy Word. He enjoyed being a faithful witness of God's saving grace. Earl was a long time friend and member of Trinity Evangelical Free Church of Woodbridge. A Memorial Service will be held at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, on Thursday, March 18th at 11 a.m. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
