In Wallingford, March 30, 2005, Earl G. Watrous, III, 77, of 346 West Woods Rd., Hamden. husband of Mary Kitt Watrous, father of Nancy Peltier and her husband, Mark of Spring City, PA, Earl G. Watrous, IV and his wife, Scottie of Chuluota, FL, brother of Jane Newmann of Redington Beach, FL, Vera Powers of St. Petersburg, FL and grandfather of Earl G. Watrous V of Chuluota, FL. Born Aug. 22, 1927 in New Haven, son of the late Earl G. Watrous, Jr. and Muriel Kappaler Watrous. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II. He was a substation supervisor at the United Illuminating Co. for 42 years. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Congregational Church, an avid golfer and enjoyed traveling. Funeral service Sat., April 2, at 10 a.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden. Burial in Centerville Cemetery.
