In Branford, March 2, 2003. Edgar Avery Morgan, formerly of Derby Turnpike, Orange, husband of the late Maybelle Shillinglaw Morgan, father of Mrs. Betty M. Bruce of Branford, grandfather of Sharon Lee and great-grandfather of; Timothy, Jessica, Amanda and Alex Lee. Born in New Haven March 18, 1908, he was the son of the late Julius and Elizabeth Caffrey Morgan. An electrical sound and lighting technician, he was a past President and longtime member of The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees Union, Local 74 of New Haven, AFL-CIO. He worked at many local theaters and was head electrician at the former New Haven Arena for many years. He was also a member of the Orange Congregational Church. Funeral service at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 WHITNEY AVE., HAMDEN on Wednesday, March 5 at 10 A.M. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 - 7 P.M.
