In Hamden, Jan. 1,2003, Edna Frohlich Leiss, 93, of 68 Edgemere Rd., wife of the late Emil Leiss, mother of Carol L. Ziegler of Hamden and Linda L. Taylor of Palm City, FL, sister of Walter Frohlich and Anne Muller both of Palm City, FL, grandmother of Meredith Ziegler Koch of Wallingford, Eileen Ziegler of Hamden and Scott Quayle of Colorado. Also survived by 3 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by 4 brothers and sisters. Edna was born in Brooklyn, NY, June 11, 1909 a daughter of the late Herman and Elizabeth Olwein Frohlich, prior to moving to Hamden she lived most of her life in Ridgewood, NJ. Funeral service Sat., Jan. 4 at 11 a.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden.
