Meriden - Edna M. O'Neil, 99, formerly of 27 Cardinal Drive, died Tuesday, April 19, 2005 at Harbor Hill Heath Care Center in Middletown. She was the wife of the late William L. O'Neil. Born in Meriden, April 2, 1906 a daughter of the late Albert and Albertine Littke Pisall. She had worked in the office of International Silver Company, retiring many years ago. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Alfred Syssa of Wolcott, and a son, Richard O'Neil of Meriden, three grandchildren, Todd Syssa of Meriden, Jodi Syssa of New York City and Richard O'Neil, Jr. of Durham and two great-grandchildren, Zachary O'Neil and Tyler O'Neil both of Durham. She was predeceased by a sister, Mildred Pisall, a brother, Frank Pisall and a granddaughter, Karen O'Neil. Funeral service Thursday, April 21, 2005 at 10 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, 520 Paddock Ave., Meriden. The Rev. Wallace Merdinyan will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of BEECHER & BENNETT FLATOW FUNERAL HOME, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden.
