In Wallingford, April 15, 2002, Edward Paul Vansteenbergen, 78, of 22 Masonic Ave. formerly of Hamden , died Monday at the Masonic Healthcare Center. He was born in New Haven, March 15, 1924 , son of the late Edward and Rose Mary Peters Mr Vansteenbergen attended Yale University and Pratt Institute. He was employed with the former Cheeseborough-Ponds Company, as a chemist prior to his retirement. Mr Vansteenbergen was a member of Trumbull Lodge, #22, A.F.& A.M. He is survived by a nephew and 4 nieces. He is survived by a sister, Bernice Moore of Wallingford a nephew and 4 nieces. He was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Hermans. Funeral Service will be held at BEECHER & BENNETT 2300 Whitney Ave. Hamden, Friday, April 19th at 1;00pm. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Centerville cemetery, Hamden.
