Edwin 'Ted' Reynolds Fletcher, 82, of Hamden, passed away on September 10, 2016 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He leaves his loving wife Thurza Zeek Fletcher, daughter Callie Fletcher and her husband Jenner Rodriguez, and several nieces and nephews. He was born in New Haven on March 11, 1934 to the late Edmund and Anne Whalen Fletcher. After graduating from Hamden High, he attended Fairfield University and Southern CT State University, where he received a Master's Degree. After college he worked as a licensed clinical social worker. His main mission was teaching people to live life to the fullest by focusing on love and spirituality. In his free time he enjoyed poetry, theatre, and family vacations to Cape Cod. A service celebrating Ted's life will take place on Wednesday Sept. 14 at 11am in the BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave. Hamden. Friends are invited to visit with his family from 9-11am. Interment to follow in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
