Wallingford - Edwin ''Billy'' Yale, 64, of Wallingford passed away Sunday, Oct. 12, 2003 at CT Hospice in Branford. He was born in Meriden, June 25, 1939 a son of Anna Donofrio Yale and the late Edwin ''Red'' Yale. Billy served in the US Coast Guard. In addition to his mother he is survived by three brothers and their wives, Gary and Denise Yale of Meriden, Raymond and July Yale of Wallingford and Douglas and Mary Yale of St. Petersburg, FL, a sister-in-law, Eloise Yale of Wallingford, eight nieces and nephews and three great-nieces. He was predeceased by a brother, Richard Yale. Funeral service Tues., Oct. 14, 2003 at 10 a.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT FLATOW FUNERAL HOME, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. Burial will follow at Walunt Grove Cemetery. The Yale family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of the Yale CTICU Heart Unit for their wonderful care.
