Elaine R. Hardy, age 92, of Hamden, passed away May 31, 2021. Born in New Haven on August 4, 1928, she was the daughter of the late John L. Hardy, Sr. & Edna Donnell Hardy. Elaine received a BA in Science and was a Registered Nurse, graduating from St. Raphael School of Nursing. She was a Nurse Anesthetist at Columbia Presbyterian, Kings County and Brooklyn Hospitals in NY for many years. Elaine was a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists. She was predeceased by her brothers; John L. Jr., Edward J., & Earl H. Hardy. Elaine is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with her family at BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden Saturday, June 5th from 10:00 a.m. prior to her Funeral Service, which will begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Hamden Plains Cemetery.
