Van Buren, Eleanor Jane North Haven, September 4, 2001, Eleanor Jane Van Buren,86 of 18 Northside Rd., North Haven, wife of the late William Thomas Van Buren, mother of Kathryn Ring of Old Saybrook, Gretchen Van Buren of Hanover, NH, David S. Van Buren of North Haven and the late Peter Van Buren, grandmother of Jonathan and Damian Possidente, predeceased by a brother, George Templeman. She was born in Sunbury, PA, July 12, 1915, daughter of the late George and Mary Bailey Templeman. She was the registrar for the Graduate School of Economics at Yale University retiring in 1988. Funeral service will be held at Christ Church, 84 Broadway, New Haven, Friday, Sept. 7 at 10:30 A.M. Friends may call at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Thursday from 6 to 8 P.M. Contributions may be made to Connecticut Hospice, Inc., 110 Barnes Rd., Wallingford, CT 06492. Interment in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven.
