Elinor M. Noe, age 93, passed away on May 9, 2016 in East Haven. Born in West Haven on August 22, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Oliver G. Thomas & Flora Millspaugh Thomas. A longtime resident of West Haven; Elinor was predeceased by her husband Frederick J. Noe; her longtime companion Ellis Benson; her son Timothy Noe; sisters Olive Stackpole & Dorothy Calpez and brothers Lester, Russell, Robert, Howard & George Thomas. Elinor is survived by her daughters Carol Esposito (Edward) of North Haven and Cynthia (Joseph) Calagna of Independence, LA; sons William (Fran) Noe of Phoenix, AZ, Donald (Gina) Noe of Prescott, AZ, and Brian Noe of Independence, LA; brother Oliver Thomas of SC; 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren & 3 great-great-grandchildren. Friends may attend her Graveside Service on Monday at 1:00 PM in Beaverdale Memorial Park, Section M, 90 Pine Rock Avenue, New Haven, CT 06515.
