Elizabeth R. Keir, 96, of Hamden, passed away Dec. 20, 2022. Born in NYC, New York on Feb. 26, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Arcardio and Elisa (Uribe) Rudon. A former resident of Guilford for many years, she was the widow of Douglas Stewart Keir. She is survived by her son Stephan and his wife (Denise) Crum of Tennessee; stepson Terry D. Keir of Minnesota; stepdaughter Betty Lawrence of Branford; 3 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 4 step-grandsons; 4 step-great-grandchildren; and dear friends Nancy Herbert and Li Wen. Predeceased by her son Roy Crum. Elizabeth formerly worked at Finest Store in Guilford. She was an avid swimmer and golfer, and loved to play Bridge and read.
Friends may attend her Celebration of Life on Jan. 7th, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Beecher & Bennett Funeral Home, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden. Burial will be private.
