Farrar, Elizabeth Guimares Pina In New Haven, May 2, 2002, Elizabeth Guimares Pina Farrar, 90, of 135 Derby Ave., wife of the late Abraham L. Farrar, mother of Albert J. Pina, John A. Pina, Vincent M. Pina, foster mother of Donald Augustine all of New Haven. Also survived by her first husband Albert Pina of Chula Vista, CA and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by sons, Louis and Donald A. Pina and brothers, Joseph, Albert and Arthur Guimares. She was born in Providence, RI, Oct. 27, 1911 daughter of the late Louis and Julia Dies Guimares. She was a parishioner of St. Paul Church of West Haven and a member of the Derbyites Club and also was a Gold Star Mother. Years ago she was a seamstress for the former Pyrex Shirt Co. of New Haven and had worked at Winchesters Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave., at Court St., West Haven, Saturday, May 4 at 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. Paul Church at 11 a.m. Entombment is St. Lawrence Garden Mausoleum.
