North Haven - Emily Ford Dill, 84, formerly of Skiff St., North Haven, passed away Friday, March 3, 2006 at Harborside Healthcare-Arden House in Hamden. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Dill Sr. She was born August 1, 1921 in New Haven a daughter of the late Joseph A. and Ethel (Corden)Ford. Mrs. Dill was a member of Partnership Adult Care Center in Hamden. She is survived by two daughters, Judith and her husband, George Griffiths of Wallingford and Pamela Steeves of Swampscott, MA, three grandchildren, Alison Leigh Griffiths Ginter of Wallingford, Dean and Laurel Steeves both of Swampscott, MA, two great-grandchildren, Mason and Cole Ginter and a sister Ethel Jaffe of Neptune, NJ. She was predeceased by a son, Robert Jackson Dill Jr. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 8 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt.Carmel Congregational Church, 3284 Whitney Ave., Hamden. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven. Beecher & Bennett, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden is in charge of the arrangements.
