In Guilford, July 10, 2001, Emily Florence Rocklott Ascenzia, 84, formerly of Monticello Dr., Branford and Dawson Ave., West Haven, wife of the late Joseph Ascenzia, mother of Joanne Ascenzia of Branford, Mrs. Joseph (Karen) Marini of Guilford, grandmother of Mrs. Jason (Tara) Poitras, Joseph Marini, Jr. and great-grandmother of Delaney Poitras. She was predeceased by a brother, Raymond W. Rocklott and a sister, Marguerite Greim. Emily was born in West Haven, Jan. 12, 1917 a daughter of the late August G. & Johanna Knauss Rocklott. She was a member of St. John By The Sea Church, West Haven where she was a former member of the Parish Aid Society.
