Emma Emily Hoefer, age 95, of Durham Rd. Madison, formerly of Helen St. Hamden, passed away November 2, 2008 at Conn. Hospice in Branford. Emma was the widow of Max Hoefer, mother of Edward Hoefer (Eileen Holt) of Madison and sister of the late Leida Heidtman, Irene Copperith & Richard Milchert. Born in East Haven on September 14, 1913 she was a daughter of the late Louis & Matilda Kellert Milchert. Growing up in East Haven she was at one time employed at Burger Brothers, she later worked along with her husband at Yale University. Emma was a member of the Hamden Garden Club and the Harugari Singing Society in West Haven. Friends and Relatives may visit at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave. on Wednesday Nov. 5, 2008 from 10 to 11 AM and may attend a Funeral Service at 11 AM.
