Emma Barrett Werme In CT Hospice, Jan. 22, 2002, Emma Barrett Werme, 95, of Foote St., Hamden, wife of the late Ralph E. Werme, step-mother of Russell A. Werme of Houston, TX. She was predeceased by brothers, Nathaniel, Abraham, Arthur, Herbert and Thomas Barrett, Jr., and sisters, Elizabeth Snow Barrett (her twin), Jessie French Barrett and twin sisters, Lucy Barrett and Annie Mae Barrett. She was born Dec. 11, 1906 in Westville, Nova Scotia a daughter of the late Thomas Frederick and Jessie French Barrett. She was a longtime employee of the Southern CT Gas Co. and a member of Grace & St. Peter's Episcopal Church. Funeral service at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Friday, Jan. 25 at 1 p.m. Friends may call from 12 p.m. - 1 p.m. Interment in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
