Esther Leavstrom, 85, of the Bradley Home, Meriden passed away Nov. 16, 2006. She was born in Morris Cove on December 13, 1920 to Ellen Larson Anderson and John Livin Anderson, widow of Norman Frederick Leavstrom, mother of Phyllis Mikhail of New Haven, Deborah Lembke of Wisconsin, Russell Leavstrom of Vermont and Clifford Leavstrom of West Hartford. Sister of Elizabeth Lindahl of Fairfield and Everett Anderson and Ellen Youngberg, deceased, 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Resident of East Haven & Yalesville. Attended Evangelical Covenant Church & First Baptist, member Topnotchers Seniors Group. Her gracious presence will be missed. Funeral service will be on Mon., Nov. 20 at 1 p.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave. Friends may visit with the family from 12-1 p.m. Memorial contributions in Esther's name may be made to CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405.
