Esther Knobf, of 4 Cassway Rd., Woodbridge, passed away Sept. 6, 2004. She was the wife of the late Charles F. Knobf, Sr. She was born in Mishawaka, Indiana, Feb. 4, 1914 daughter of the late Alfred and Matilda Bennett Knobf. She was a resident of Palm Harbor, FL for many years until returning to CT. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Mary (Tish) Knobf, Jr. of Woodbridge, a daughter, Judie Moore of Black Rock, CT. Also survived by 2 grandchildren, Emily and Zachary Knobf. She was predeceased by a sister, Elsie VanDevere and a brother, Harold Bennett. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Thursday, Sept. 9th at 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Church of the Assumption Church, 81 Center Rd., Woodbridge at 11:00 a.m. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
