Esther C. Raffone, 87, formerly of Whitney Ave. Hamden and a resident of Norton, MA. passed away, Saturday February 5, 2003, in MA. She was the beloved wife of Alexander M. Raffone for 54 years. Mother and mother-in-law of Pamela Raffone D'Agostino and her husband, Dr. Robert D'Agostino of Canton, MA. and Mary-Jo Raffone of Phoenix, AZ. sister of Viola (Patty) Capuano of Hamden and Joseph Campochiaro of Fort Myers, FL, grandmother of Julianne, Alexa, Joseph and Dara D'Agostino. Predeceased by sisters, Sylvia Campochiaro, Mary DeRosa, Lena Petriccione Edith Ferraioulo, Grace Bavolack, Palma Giordino and a brother, Salvatore Campochiaro. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mrs Raffone taught ESL in the Hamden Public School System for many years. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and cooking.
