Eugene E. O'Brien, age 93, of New Haven passed away January 18, 2021 at the West Haven Veterans Medical Center. Born in New Haven on September 12, 1927, he was the son of the late James R. and Elizabeth Stapleton O'Brien. Eugene was a proud U.S. Army veteran, having served in Korea, and worked as a self-employed land surveyor. He was loved by many. Eugene leaves his niece Catherine Piscitelli of New Haven.
Private burial will take place in the State of Connecticut Veteran's Cemetery in Middletown. Arrangements are in Care of Beecher & Bennett Funeral Home, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden, CT
