Eunice H. Bryden, 75, of Evergreen Ave., Hamden, beloved wife of 49 years to Richard W. Bryden, passed away at CT Hospice in Branford, Monday, May 8, 2006. Born in New Haven, April 23, 1931, a daughter of the late Edward and Dorothy Bartlem Hubler. Along with her husband she leaves her sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Jill Bryden of Cheshire, Ray and Margaret Bryden of Prospect, Rob and Janice Bryden of Cheshire, and Scott and Valerie Bryden of Northford, grandchildren, Hayley, Melody, Rachel, Sarah, Lindsay, Meredith, Natalie, Scott, Spencer, and Jenna, her sister, Joan Peterson of Hamden and a brother, Roger Hubler of Clearwater, FL. Besides being a wonderful wife, Eunice was an amazing mother who took great pride in her sons. If she wasn't spending time with her children at home she was at their numerous events cheering them on. After their sons grew up, she and her husband took many trips along the East Coast and Canada with the AAA Mystery Tours. Having not had any daughters of her own, she relished the time spent with her four daughters-in-law. After becoming a grandmother, Eunice's pride and joy became her grandchildren. Along with her amazing personality, her whole family will miss her cooking, her special homemade treats for the holidays, and her knitting. Funeral Service Thursday, May 11 at 11 a.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 WHITNEY AVE., HAMDEN. Friends may call Thursday from 10 -11 a.m. Burial in Centerville Cemetery.
