In Milford, Sept. 1, 2005, Eva Hyde Ford 91, of Prospect Ave., West Haven, wife of the late William F. Ford, mother of Robyn Maher of West Haven, Judith VanSteenburgh of East Haven, William F. Ford, Jr. of Bradenton, FL and the late John and Robert Ford, sister of Muriel Knoll, Dolores Cascio both of West Haven, Vincent Hyde of Onset, MA and the late Violet Perrilli, Florence Hyde, Amy Hyde and George Hyde. Also survived by 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Eva was born in New Haven, May 17, 1914 a daughter of the late George and Florence Thomas Hyde. She had worked as a waitress at the former Woolworth and Kresge's Department Stores in New Haven. Funeral service Sat., Sept. 3, 2005 at 1 p.m. at BEECHER & BENNET TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave., West Haven.
