Eva Margaret Sanford, 98, wife of the late Edmund D. Sanford, formerly of West Hartford passed away peacefully in Bethany, Feb. 14, 2003. She is survived by two daughters; Eve M. Kranz and her husband, Hugo of Bethany, Sandra J. Sanford of Newington, a son David Sanford and his wife Nancy, of Wellesly, MA. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was a 50 resident of West Hartford where she was a former member of the Women's Republican Club. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Mark the Evangelist Church in West Hartford. Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Tues., Feb. 18 at 9:45 at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Assumption Chapel, 1700 Litchfield Tpk., Woodbridge. There are no calling hours. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, West Hartford. Arrangements under the direction of BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden.
