Evan W. Kreighbaum, age 3, of Racebrook Road, Woodbridge, passed away on February 8, 2010 in Yale New Haven Hospital. Born on September 17, 2006 in New Haven, Evan is the son of Paige P. Sloman of Woodbridge & Cesar L. Kreighbaum of Stratford. He is survived by his half- brother Nathan Kreighbaum of Milford; maternal grandparents, Carol & William Sloman of Woodbridge; paternal grandparents Maria & Lee Bussius of Fayetteville, NC; maternal great grandmother Dorothy Sloman of Pontevedra, FL; paternal great grandmother Ofelia Gutierrez of Stratford; cousins Bailie & Bryann O'Tinger and several aunts & uncles. Evan was always a fighter, overcoming many health obstacles. He loved life so very much and touched many lives in his short time here. Evan's funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010 in BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden. Friends may also visit with his family at the funeral on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Centerville Cemetery, Hamden.
