Evelyn Mary Lucky, age 87, formerly of New Haven, passed away on August 28, 2010 at her residence in East Haven. Evelyn was born in New Haven on September 14, 1922 the daughter of the late Barnabus & Mary Yuhas Lucky. She was also predeceased by her brother, Ted B. Lucky. A resident of New Haven most of her life, Evelyn was formerly employed by A.C. Gilbert Co. and the former Gant Shirtmakers Co. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010 at 11:00 AM in St. Francis Church, 397 Ferry St., New Haven. Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden.
