FILOMENA "FANNIE" RAPTIS West Haven- Filomena "Fannie" Raptis, 84, of Bayshore Dr., wife of the late Arthur Raptis, passed away Nov. 11, 2006 after an extended illness. She was born in New Haven June 8, 1922, a daughter of the late Joseph and Catarina Riccio Posato and resided in New Haven before moving to West Haven in 1993. Mother of Robert Raptis of West Haven and Raymond Raptis of Davenport, FL; sister of Antionette Carrangelo of East Haven; grandmother of John Raptis of Southington and the late Tesha Raptis. She was also predeceased by 2 sisters, Molly Cassanova and Rose Edwards, and a brother James Posato. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated in Our Lady of Victory Church, 600 Jones Hill Rd., West Haven Wednesday morning, November 15 at 11 am. Friends may call Tuesday at BEECHER & BENNETT-TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave at Court St., West Haven from 3-7pm. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery will be private.
