FLORENCE J. HOGAN Wilton, CT: Florence Hogan, 100, formerly of Meriden, died Friday, November 4, 2016 at the Wilton Meadows Nursing Home. A lifelong resident of Meriden, she was born March 2, 1916 and was a graduate of Meriden schools. Preceded in death by her husband, James J. Hogan, she is survived by a son, Captain Brian Hogan, US Navy, retired; a daughter, Sharon Alk of Rowayton, Connecticut; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Private funeral and burial services will held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Beecher and Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden.
