Meriden - Florence (Lundstrom) Smith wife of the late Rev. David C. Smith passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. She was born September, 9, 1923 in Linkoping, Sweden a daughter of the late Car Johanl and Signe Carolina (Lundqvist). She is survived by a daughter, Karen Hefter and her husband Leonard of Texas, two granddaughters, Cherilyn Hubbard and Erika Ploehn both of Texas and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 27, 2012 at 11am at the Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. The Rev. Dr. G. Scott Cady will officiate. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Meriden. Relatives and friends my gather at the funeral home on Friday from 9am to 11am, prior to the service.
