Frances S. Steinbrick, age 73, of Shelton, formerly of Trumbull, passed away on November 12, 2012 at the Bishop Wicke Health Center. Frances was the widow of Charles N. Steinbrick. Born in New Haven on April 8, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Delbert & Josephine Sumecki Shailor. She is survived by her daughters, Shari France & her husband Stuart of Shelton and Wendy Stacey & her husband Bill of Branford; her sister Barbara Shailor & her husband Harry Blair & their daughter Emily Blair of Branford; grandchildren Jordan Stacey, Jake France & Olivia Stacey; step-grandchildren Kerry France-Winco & Melissa France and a great grandson Nathan Stacey. Frances formerly owned and operated the Yarn Barn in Fairfield. She was always very creative in her business and as well after, doing many craft shows that she much enjoyed. Friends may attend her funeral service on Saturday, November 17th at 1:00 PM in BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden. Interment will be private.
