Frank J. Biggs, age 84, of Wallingford passed away July 27, 2023. Born in East Lyme on February 18, 1939, he was the son of the late Leon O. Hamel & Mary Margaret (Diamond) Hamel. Frank is survived by his wife, Marion (Landa) Biggs; his sons, Michael Biggs, Stephen (Jodie) Biggs, and Kenneth (Kathy Crowley) Biggs; his sister, Helen Carol Carrano; and several grandchildren and great- grandchildren. He was predeceased by two grandchildren. A longtime resident of Wallingford, he formerly lived in Hamden and Durham. Frank was a heavy equipment operator, retiring from Operating Engineers Local 478; he also was a construction welder for Stone Safety Corp. and worked part time for Fazzino Auto Parts Store.
