Frank DiPiazza, age 83, passed away peacefully in Connecticut Hospice in Branford on August 5, 2011 to be reunited with his beloved wife, Eleanore O'Hare DiPiazza. Frank was born in Harlem, NY on December 5, 1927 to the late Giovanni and Gaetana Patricola DiPiazza. He was a devoted father to his children, Debra DiPiazza and her husband Christopher Langlois of Vancouver, WA, Susan DiPiazza of Hamden, Carol & her husband James Penna of Hamden, Edward & his wife Debra DiPiazza of LosAngeles, CA, Nancy & her husband Raymond D'Addio of Bristol, RI and the late Laura Ann DiPiazza. Proud and much loved grandfather of Matthew and Michelle D'Addio, Genevieve Langlois and Dylan J. Penna. He was the brother to the late Salvatore, Paul and Josephine DiPiazza and Stella Marino. Frank is a former member of the Hamden Knights of Columbus, High Lane Club of North Haven, and St. Rita's Men's Club. He retired from Windows Plus in Wallingford, he was a self employed Commercial Artist for many years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army in WWII, and served in the Peace Keeping Detail in Japan. Friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial at St. Rita's Church, 1620 Whitney Ave, Hamden, on Friday, August 12th at 11 a.m.followed by Military Honors.
