In New Haven, Feb. 1, 2001, Frank A. Marino 82, of 15 Marion Court, North Haven, husband of the late Enes L. Massini. Father of Ronald F. Marino and his wife Trudy Marino of East Orleans, MA, grandfather of Cynthia Williams of Harwich, MA, Erin Lynn Hartzfeld, Boston, MA, Elizabeth Ann Luisi of Stony Point, NY, great grandfather of Taylor Anne Williams of Harwich, MA, Olivia Tru Luisi and Andrew Luisi both of Stony Point, NY, brother of the late Dominic Marino and Mary Florentino. Mr. Marino was born in Hamden, Sept. 9, 1918 a son of the late Pasquale and Carmela Tangredi Marino. He served in the Pacific in the US Navy during WW II. He was a self-employed building contractor who owned the former Frank's Construction Co. of North Haven. He served as treasurer for the Town of North Haven in the early 1970's, was a member of the North Haven Republican Town Committee, North Haven Rotary, a Fourth Degree Knight in the John Barry Council - Knights of Columbus, VFW of North Haven and a 55 year member of the North Haven American Legion. Friends and relatives are invited to go directly to St. Barnabas Church, North Haven, Monday, Feb. 5 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10a .m. Friends may call at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden on Sunday from 4 - 7 p.m. Interment will be private.
