Torrington- Frank E. Northrop, Sr. 37, fiance of Dawn L. Alexander of North Chapel St., passed away suddenly Sun., Sept. 4, 2005. He was born in New Haven, January 25, 1968 a son of Edmund and Mary Thatcher Northrop, Sr. of East Haven, and had resided in Branford and East Haven before moving to Torrington in 2002. Frank was employed as a union painter with Painter's Union Local #481, District Council # 11, and he enjoyed his family, hunting and fishing. He is survived by his maternal grandmother Elizabeth Tretiak of West Haven, four sons; Frank, Jr., Robert, Kyle, Alexander, and an expected child in 2006, four sisters, Donna Esposito, Debbie Cirasuolo, Ronda Cochran, Roberta Northrop, a brother, Edmund Northrop, Jr., 5 nieces, 8 nephews, 1 great niece and 2 great nephews. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Tony Tretiak, and paternal grandparents, Francis and Clara E. Northrop. Funeral service Friday, Sept. 9 at 11 a.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT-TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave., Campbell Ave. at Court St., West Haven.
