Frederick "Fritzie" Panasewich, 82, of Kensington, passed away January 12, 2007 at MidState Hospital, Meriden. He was born in New Britain on August 21, 1924 to the late Jacob and Helen Martincyk Panasewich. Fritzie lived most of his life in Berlin while woking on the family farm in Plainville. When he wasn't working on the farm with his brothers he was fishing with them, weather it be in the warm weather or in the winter when they would go ice fishing. After retiring from his full time farming job, Fritzie continued to take grate pride in his personal vegetable garden, which he kept up until just last year. Fritzie lived a quiet life but new how to enjoy the special things in life and will be greately missed by his family and friends. He leaves many nieces and nephews, Phyllis Miano and her husband Paul of Kensington, Linda Yount, Joan Yates, Debra Panasewich, Susan Dowling, Arthur Gast, Robert Gast, and Michael Panasewich. He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Walter, Paul, Jacob, Raymond, Millie and Nona Panasewich, Jenny Gast, and, Helen Moratti. Funeral service at BEECHER & BENNETT FLATOW FUNERAL HOME., 48 Cook Ave., on Wed. Jan. 17th at 11:00 a.m. Friends may visit from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wed. Interment will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
