Meriden- Frederick W. Stark Jr, 94, husband of the late Elizabeth Sattler Stark died on Friday, January 11, 2013 at CT Baptist Home. Born in Providence, RI on January 17, 1918 he was a son of the late Frederick And Helen (Blodgett) Stark. Until his retirement Fred was an architect at FFM&P Architects in Hartford. He was a member of the Door of Hope Church in Wallingford and Gideons International. He is survived by his five children, Fred and Cheryl Stark of Westbrook and Florida, Linda and James Bartis of Bristol and South Carolina, Susan and Robert Vincent of Thompson, CT and Rhode Island, Gretchen and John Went of Meriden and Kyle and Afer Stark of Quaker Hill, CT, 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Ruth Dorflingler and a grandson, Jeffrey Stark. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Door of Hope Church, 120 Church St.,(Rte68) Wallingford. Everyone is asked to meet at the church. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemtery, Meriden.
