Frederick ''Rick'' Thomas Shepherd, III In Woodbridge, July 23, 2002, Frederick ''Rick'' Thomas Shepherd, III, 47 of 1990 Litchfield Tpk., Shepherd Farm, Woodbridge, husband of Sarah Russell Shepherd, father of Erik and Benjamin Russell Shepherd, son of Frances Beattie Shepherd of Woodbridge and the late Frederick T. Shepherd, Jr., brother of Joan S. Eicher of Centerport, NY, Susan S. Rochette of Woodbridge, Roger H. Shepherd of Bethany and John B. Shepherd of Woodbridge. Rick was born in New Haven, Sept. 5, 1954 lived in Woodbridge, after graduating from Amity High School he attended Trinity-Pawling School and Boston University. He was a dairy farmer and ran his family farm with his father for most of his life. Friends and relatives are invited to a service in remembrance of Rick at Eastside Cemetery, Pease Rd., Woodbridge on Friday at 4 p.m. Refreshments will be served at the farm following the remembrance service.
