Frieda Elizabeth Dobratz Denison, 96, of 800 Bal Harbor Blvd., Punta Gorda, Florida formerly of Meriden died Friday, Oct. 5, 2001 at Faucett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte, Florida. She was the wife of the late Raymond N. Denison. She was born in Meriden, March 3, 1905 daughter of the late Frank and Hanna Verch Dobratz. She was a resident of Meriden until 1989 when she moved to Killingworth and then to Florida in September 1999. She is survived by a son, Raymond A. Denison of Punta Gorda, Florida, 2 grandsons, Raymond W. Denison of Clinton and Stephen E. Denison of East Haddam and a great-grandaughter, Megan Elizabeth Denison. Predeceased by 5 brothers and 2 sisters. A graveside service will be held Tuesday morning, Oct. 9 at Walnut Grove Cemetery (section 27) Meriden at 10:00 O'Clock. Rev. Perry Beaver will officiate.
