Gabriel Cruz Sanchez, 78, of Meriden, passed away on November 28, 2021 at Complete Care of Meriden. Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on August 10, 1943, a son of the late Gabriel and Felicita Sanchez Cruz, he is survived by his children; Maria Cruz and her husband José Angel Gonzalez, Luz Cruz and her husband William Medina, Gabriel Cruz, Lucecita Cruz and her husband José Soto, Veronica Cruz and her husband Benjamin Collazo, Gabriel Cruz, Rosana Cruz, and Emmanuel Cruz and his wife Yovany Torres. He is also survived by many brothers, sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends. Gabriel enjoyed playing dominoes with his friends and family and listening to music. He will always be remembered for his loving spirit and funny personality.
A service celebrating his life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 3, 2021 in Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. Friends are invited to visit with his family from 9:00am-10:00 a.m. before the service.
