GAIL LOUISE ROMANO Wallingford- Gail Louise Romano, 72, wife of the late Joseph M. Romano, Jr., formerly of Spice Hill Dr. passed away Dec.15, 2006 after a long illness. She was born in New Haven, Aug. 30, 1934 a daughter of the late Robert C. and Margaret H, Rooney Zwick and had resided in North Haven for many years before moving to Wallingford. Mrs. Romano was employed as an usher at the Oakdale Theater and also as an aid in the Wallingford school system. She is survived by a daughter, Robin Romano Buckley, and her husband, Jim Buckley of Cheshire, and 3 grandchildren, Roger W. Bernardo, III, Cory M. Bernardo, and Nicole W. Bernardo. Her daughters, Gailann R. Ricciardi and Jody H. Romano predeceased her. Friends may call MONDAY evening from 5:30 to 7:30 at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 WHITNEY AVE., HAMDEN. Funeral service will be WEDNESDAY at 11AM in the funeral home, followed by interment in Centerville Cemetery.
